Mattresses were very poor quality: thin and lumpy. Dinner portions were tiny, and very expensive. No telephone in room to contact reception desk and no safe in room. Bed sheets were of poor quality. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. That’s all!

Thank you for your rewiev. You ordered only strarters so the size of the portions will be not like an main corse.We regret that you found the quality of our mattresses to be unsatisfactory. We want to clarify that we do not use box spring mattresses, but rather a different type that should still be comfortable. Nevertheless, we will take your feedback seriously and inspect the mattresses in all rooms to ensure they meet our guests' expectations.

Absolutely fabulous, great communication and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room but this is common in the region. Highly recommended

Stayed there for one week. Overall, the room was nice and clean with a hottub, which we didn't expect. The bed was comfortable but it was made by putting two separate smaller beds side by side. They moved apart when we wanted to sleep close to each other - it may or may not apply to everyone. There was no air conditioning in the room and we had to use the windows. The property did not have laundry service. Didn't see do jot disturb sign to not clean room on some days, but we may have missed it. Breakfast was very good. Staff were bery friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was good too.

Average hotel, nothing spectacular. NO AC in rooms. Limited staffing within hotel. Small rooms and smaller bathrooms. Rooms are the size of cruise ships. Very small showers. Ok for a short stays.

Easy 7 mins walk from Littau station which is 1 stop from Lucern main station Front desk lady Monica very nice enough to check room and giving early check in at 12 + noon. Fairly big size room and free WIFI. No kettle, asked for 1 and was very promptly delivered. Free breakfast included Cons. Room 304 very close to busy road. Vehicles can be quite loud but if you are not bothered then ok. Shower uses shower curtains so water may spill about toilet, a bit annoying but can make do with it.

Hotel is located in littau, not Lucerne. But just a few minutes train which is free anyway. On the other hand you will have the chance to see and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland. Breakfast was basic but good enough, especially the coffee. Just the breads were not so fresh. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Compared to the Swiss hotels prices, it is a very good deal. I enjoyed my three-day stay very much. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with big rooms and top spec bathrooms
Nice hotel a little out of main Lucern with big rooms, very comfortable beds and easy free parking. Hotel is on main road so can hear the traffic a little in the evening, but friendly staff and easy to get to surrounding areas for sightseeing

Would love to go back there!
Amazingly located hotel near Lucerne. Away from the bustle of tourists yet close enough to take a short train ride, which is free anyway! The owner/manager is a very nice helpful person. Check in was quick and easy. Local information was very useful. Breakfast is quite good . Very convenient car park. All in all, a pleasant experience. Its a very pretty little hotel that you can choose blindly.

The reception was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has spacious room, clean, but our room doesn’t have an air conditioner only a fan on the table. They offer a basic breakfast but all that we needed. They have a good parking area for free. There is also a restaurant on the premises.

Very noisy location and full of flies
No aircondition , no fan in the room. You have to sleep windows closed to reduce the outside noise from cars and trains as the hotel is on a main road. In addition, room poorly equipped as there is no coffe maker, no kettle for making tea, there is even no phone in the room. Bathroom very outdated. Staff were helpful in providing directions to close by attractions. Restrant was full of flies at time of breakfast. We had to wave with one hand and with ano5her to prevent flies from falling into our food. When told them, they said oh it is normall in this area to have flies! I said yes, but not in a resturant and on the food!

Friendly and helpful staff, ideal location for exploring Lucerne and area, with free train pass into town centre (7 mins), tasty food in the restaurant. Clean, comfortable rooms with modern decor. On a very busy road, but there is little traffic during the night, starts again early morning. Would stay again.

Lucerne Visit
This hotel is a ways from town, but Lucerne is easily accessible by train, although the train only runs hourly. The hotel has been very modernized.

Quaint Nice Hotel
Sweet hotel with goats, sheep, & horses all around the area. Bring your own soap and shampoo. :) Breakfast is ok.

- Around 6 kms from the main city, each time when you arrive here you would have to catch a train which runs every 30 mins to and fro. - Male staff rude and does not communicate things in advance. - Breakfast was average. - Hotel is located on a highway so there is no restaurants nearby except one Arabic Kabab near Littau train station. You would be forced to eat in the hotel if you don't eat something in Lucerne city during evening before catching the train. - the hotel toilets were not clean when we arrived. - I would recommend spending some extra money and live in Lucerne if your pocket allows.

The hotel was very nice with beautiful location. The staff is very friendly and very helpfull. Anybody visiting Lucerne should stay in this hotel and it is 10 mins in train from Lucerne. The food was very great and if i visit Lucerne again than would stay in this hotel

Decent place to stay in Lucerne!
Pros - Nice room with modern furniture, and a modern shower/bathroom. They were flexible with check in time, and provided a discount card for cheaper local activities. Free parking, and close to public transport, so that was excellent! Very cost effective for being close to/in Lucerne. Good free breakfast! Cons - The bed didn't feel too comfortable to me, and it is not near the major attractions in Lucerne (which is why it is probably more economical).

Pleasant location - and reasonable access to Luzerne Stay not uncomfortable - but expect fairly basic facilities. Staff not unwelcoming but clearly staff not in a rush to please or give extra. They are there to check you in and out but not much else! Room = basic. No a/c, phone. Bathrooms - towel, bar of soap but nothing else. Orange bed sheets! Uninspiring, dull decor, reminiscent of 1970s - early 1980s Breakfast = dull, and again basic. Little choice / mostly packet food. One cup of coffee - need to ask for. Value for money = poor, but probably in keeping with Swiss pricing / standards. I.e expensive for what you get compared to other European countries

Good size room in Littau, 10 min train from Lucern (4CHF per person per train journey). Hotel just off the road but difficult to see name when driving through -we recognised it through the picture-. Modern but no character or theme throughout. Reception personnel very helpful but this is the only hotel in Switzerland where we weren't given a free local pass to ride train or buses. Room did not have air conditioning and although the temperature was nice enough,it felt stuffy when we closed the window due to road noise. Breakfast selection ok and a la carte restaurant expensive as other travellers have said. Train station is around 5 min on foot.

Hotel is located right next to a busy street with a lot of traffic. You will hear every tractor trailer downshifting and every car that passes. Despite closing the windows you will not be able to block out the noise. We did not sleep well at all and the constant noise from the road was annoying. Hotel has a restaurant however not even an egg was offered to be cooked at breakfast. Minimal effort for breakfast was given by the hotel. Hotel does not have any fans for use. Easy access to train station and free parking were positives. But we will not return.

Astounding!
The hotel was a short (five-minute?) walk from the train, and was only a stop away from the Lucerne central train station. The business contains both a hotel and a restaurant in the same building, even though the hotel didn't have a very conspicuous sign. Once inside, though, I was in heaven. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke English. The entire building seemed brand new and was very clean. The room was huge, had wireless internet, and had electric window blinds. (We visited in May, so the lack of air conditioning was not an issue.) There was not a great deal of furniture (chairs, desks, or tables), but we had plenty of space to lay out our belongings and enjoy the room's simplicity, elegance, and comfort. Of course, with a restaurant in-house, the breakfast was amazing. There was plenty of fresh fruit, bread, and yoghurt, along with other breakfast staples like sliced meats, boiled eggs, muesli, juice, milk, and coffee. There was also plenty of seating at breakfast, because it was served in the conference room. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: good location. A few kms away from the attractions. Breakfast included Free parking Helpful and jolly staff. Cons: No AC, fan available on request. The ventilation was minimal and namesake. Room felt like an oven in June. The room seemed clean, but there was a whole lot dust below the bed.
