Invraisemblable! Nous sommes arrivés le 15/05 vers 17h: une sorte de vigile nous attendait nous remettre la clef de notre chambre car il n'y avait personne à la réception! Résultat; il ne nous a pas été remis l''attestation qui nous aurait permis de pénétrer en voiture dans cette ville où la circulation est strictement interdire aux non-résidents. Et quand nous sommes partis le 17 vers 9h30, il n'y avait toujours personne à la réception! Nous sommes donc restés 2 nuits, et notre chambre n'a pas été faite! Et pas de petit déjeuner! Chambre d'un confort correct mais sans aucun charme et avec un éclairage sinistre totalement décevant

Disappointing

The photos show a balcony and other amenities that are only available in one of the apartments. There is not much in the way of a kitchen in the 2 bedroom I rented. The was no curtain over the bathroom window so the workers in the adjacent building, and diners at the cafe could have a nice view of a person using the shower....I stuffed towels over the windows. Tiny shower. You can do much better in Lucca for the money.

A great place to stay, and inside the walls of the city. Would stay again.

Wonderful location!

A short walk from the train station inside the wall that rings the charming town of Lucca. The woman who checked us in was very accommodating with a map of the city and several recommendations of highlights to visit while we were there. Rooms are spacious and look out towards a piazza and a handy coffee shop. Easy in and out of the building with a working elevator-not always the case! One of the few places that we did not have to lug our bags up flights of stairs. Right next door is a cozy enoteca, Santa Cristina. Nice wine selection, small and well chosen menu for lunch and dinner. The owner Cristina was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations elsewhere in the city. Don't miss taking in the Puccini 1 hour concert every evening in the church just a few blocks away, the Church of San Giovanni. Don't be concerned if you are not an opera fan, it's an amazing and beautiful thing to witness in this setting. Walking around the wall is a must-do, only 2.4 miles and a great way to get oriented to the city.

Centrally located clean apartment

We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was very centrally located and has a lift which was useful. The kitchen can do with some better equipment and curtains need replacing, but everything was clean and the staff were very helpful. Wifi was not great.

Excellent Lucca Location

Wonderful apartment in excellent central location within the walled city of Lucca. Puccini suite (no 3) faces on Piazza XX September had street noise early in the morning and late in the evening. Very nice bedrooms and bathroom. A bit of confusion on our part about waste and recycling.

Casa Paolina is wonderful

Excellent location, clean and modern, helpful staff, warm and friendly people. This apartment is perfect for visiting Lucca. We'd stay there again in the future In a heartbeat. The morning church bells were a delight and the square directly in front of our room was picture perfect, and had great breakfast and lunch spots.

Very nice apartment, good location.

Very nice apartment. Easy to reach from bus terminal. Good facilities and nice to have tea and coffee. Very comfortable rooms. Nice town to explore. Reasonable restaurants nearby.

Appartamento signorile ben attrezzato in centro

La struttura consiste in più appartamenti locati nel medesimo stabile in pieno centro all’interno delle mura di Lucca. Tutto quello che serve é raggiungibile a piedi in pochissimi minuti. L’appartmento nel quale ho alloggiato é spazioso ed in ottime condizioni. La cucina é bene attrezzata ed é realmente possibile cucinare se si vuole. A chi possa interessare la TV é un po’ datata ma funziona. Problema comune a tutte le strutture dentro le mura é che non si può raggiungere con la macchina se non all’arrivo ed alla partenza per carico e scarico bagagli. Per chi non ha problemi la cosa si risolve lasciando l’auto a 5-10 m a piedi dalla struttura.

Stay here!

Lovely, spacious apartment in a great spot just off the main square. Child friendly - lovely big crib and high chair provided. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay again and hope to do so soon.

Helemaal goed. Ruim en hartje centrum. Parkeren kan 300 m verderop in een overdekte bewaakte garage. Er is een receptie die zeer behulpzaam is en ook engels praat. Toen de WIFI het even niet deed, kregen we gewoon een andere WIFI. En goede airco.

Great Location, Great Accommodations!

We had a wonderful experience in Lucca, and at Casa Paolina. It was a great location, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were perfect for our family trip to this beautiful old town. Definitely recommend walking the wall, and checking out some of the churches and towers! We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends and family!

We spent close to three weeks at Casa Paolina. We loved the location, right next to Piazza Napoleon. Frederica was very helpful at reception. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the livingroom furniture was not very comfortable. We thought we would have a balcony, but the one bedroom apartments only have windows overlooking the square. The wifi was not consistent and it could be improved. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Casa Paolina and hope to return.
