We have used this stop over a number of times over a decade. Excellent facilities, secure parking, comfy beds, powerful shower. Great breakfast. A short walk into the town. Great hosts. Will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spotless, and the owner was exceptionally polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The homemade jams and lavender sachets were thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special.
Breakfast was simple yet delicious, with fresh and tasty options. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with very comfortable beds.

We have stayed here many times and it just gets better. They have improved the bedrooms, the family are charming and Monsieur le chef goes from strength to strength.

We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean.
Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. Breakfast similarly...

Hotel was easy to find, conveniently close to the motorway, but far enough away to be peaceful. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being obsequious or obtrusive. The hotel car park is adjacent and felt secure, reassuring as we had a full car load. Our room was clean and comfortable, with pleasantly and tastefully decorated. We spent a restful night, had a continental breakfast, before moving on without being hurried. A small army of staff were busy cleaning when we went to sign out,...

Beautiful old hotel renovated considerately, the staff were welcoming and dinner was delicious. Great facilities for a stop over in this region I would return again and highly recommend.

I was working in the area and unexpectedly needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. I received a warm welcome and found the place clean, comfortable and convenient. Simple free parking right across the road. Excellent food.

Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador!
Pool really good. Not much to do in the village but plenty nearby.

We stayed for a quick night stop half way through France. We picked this place because looked interesting and glad we did. Place was amazing. It was different than boring hotel rooms. It was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The person (I believe he was the owner) was very kind and friendly. We had a amazing comfortable evening and continued our journey next morning but we would definitely stayed for more. It's unique place. Very quiet and tranquil. Definitely recommend here

Our experience was amazing.
We stopped for one night on our outward journey and two on our return.
Staff were ultra helpful in terms of accommodating us in extreme heat and making our stay as comfortable as possible.
Lovely indoor restaurant and pretty courtyard for outdoor breakfast.
Both rooms were charming and setting idyllic with easy access to chateau and parking opposite.
