Should have stated on the website the pool was closed , rooms were not as pictured on the website. No social event like stated . No bowls for cereal . No housekeeping. No extra towels . Over priced.

Some hygienic suggestions: - There is grime in the bathtub. It is not viewable, but if you wet it and run your hand along it, you will be left with a residue on your hand. - The tiled floor by the breakfast area is sticky. - There is dust on top of the fridge and behind the T.V.. - The railing holding the windows should be oiled. - Some of the fruit had mold. Particularly, powdery mildew on the stalks of the bananas at breakfast. - Having a yogurt bin is somewhat unsanitary. Otherwise it was fine, and the staff was curteous.

Shower curtain had two huge stains, wall in bathroom was filthy, tub wouldn’t drain, bed and pillows were very poor quality and on two of the days there was construction with very loud noises and no alert or explanation to guests. I won’t stay there next time I go visit my son at TT.

Staff was amazing, especially the breakfast attendants. The breakfast was hot and tasty every day. Even though my brand new truck got keyed in the parking lot I'll still be booking here for my work trips because every employee was outstanding and caring.

We stayed their a couple of years ago and we were happy with the hotel. I do not know what happened this property has gone down. The room was in very bad disrepair. The room was a little dirty. We were just very disappointed.

This is my second time there. First time was good, but I thought they would've upgraded thing by now. First - I arrived at 7pm after driving 8 hrs to find that they my (or a ) room was ready. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I waited and yet it still wasn't ready. Okay, check in is at 3pm I don't understand. second - the room was dingy, tattered, and worn. The room was some what clean to standards, but after settling in and looking around, there was either throwup on the curtains and burnt holes. The bathroom door was run down. Walking into the room they had the A/C at full blast when it was 35 degrees outside. I guess the last guest are all placed on the first floor. I would've asked for something on the second or third but I was too tried and didn't want to argue. The TV volume for some odd reason was very low and I had it at its max. Not sure what was up with that. I travel up to Lubbock to visit my son in college once a month. Um, naw, never going back. Though the location is good, across the street from the camps I rather not revisit this hotel.

The staff is the only thing I can recommend about this place. We arrived for our reservation at 4:45 and were told we would have to wait 30 minutes for house keeping to clean the room. So we waited. We finally got our key and went up but they were still in our room. When we got into the room, it looked ok. The sheets were clean and the towels were freshly laundered, which was good. The tiles in the bathroom were loose when you walked on them, the grout was all broken and/or missing, the sink, shower and floor were not clean. There was zero water pressure and a terrible shower head. Again, we had clean sheets and towels so we had a place to sleep after our event. Would not stay there again unless we were desperate.

Heater would not stop running. It was so hot in the room and my choices were to keep it off or to run it all the time No soap and no shampoo When we turned off the heater I weird stale smell appeared

The bed was very comfortable, loved it. The soap, shampoos & lotions were all great quality. The AC/heater unit was extremely loud, the noise kept waking me up, not good when you are trying to sleep after a long flight. Vacuuming and wiping down needed more attention. Overall it was a good stay. I'll stay at Staybridge again if ever in town.

Place was dirty and unkept. It's a pet friendly place and threaten our family with calling animal control because our small dog was barking. Horrible place! Noisy because of traffic and close proximity to dinning and lobby. Room was unkept and towels were dirty. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very close to Texas Tech, easy in and out of parking. Beds comfortable, rooms clean, only problem during our visit was elevator not working when we arrived but repaired shortly. Breakfast had good variety of options
