"1. Took a very long time to confirm the booking, the reception couldn't see any bookings from Hotels.com. 2. Room looks ok at first glance, but ALOT of dust and filth everywhere, only cleaned the most obvious places. 3. Got hungry around 21:30 and figured we would take our bike from the resort to the night market in Luang Prabang, to our surprise the gate to the hotel area was closed and it was not possible to get out. Nobody from the hotell staff was in the resort and we couldn't reach...

Arriving early evening, the light pathway was simply attractive far better to what we expected when camping. "We've stayed in the Mekong Riverview Hotel several times over the past 7 years and it continues to be a lovely place to spend time. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable and we love the large balconies. The friendly staff are a highlight and they always do their best to accommodate any request you have. Breakfast is simple but delicious and comes with lovely views at the riverside restaurant. Note: I recommend requesting a second floor room as vans tend to park out front during the day and block the river view from the balcony. "
