The room itself was very spacious and nice, probably the comfiest hotel/resort bed I’ve ever slept in so that was also a huge plus!! The walk to the beach is very convenient & so are all the restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back & most definitely recommend this resort if you’re planning on visiting st. marteen!! "

"My wife and I spent a week at La Playa Orient Bay and absolutely loved it. The property is not exactly “upscale” or fancy but is definitely nice, clean, and very comfortable. It’s steps from the beautiful beach and an easy walk to numerous quality restaurants of various cuisines as well as a small market. Also loved the beach bar and its friendly French proprietor GP. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only small negative is that other properties are much closer than they appear in the pictures, but that didn’t detract from our stay at all. We’d love to go back. "

"I love our view from our room, staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room was cleaned and restocked everyday and I loved the pool! Only down side is the website says Continental breakfast but there wasn’t any type of food for guest at all unless it was the restaurant which we didn’t like the menu! But other than that we enjoyed our stay! "
