We booked a king bed thru Expedia and were given two queen that the Hyatt blamed on us using a “third party” to book. Also, our room phone was totally dead/couldn’t be used and our room carpet was dirty

I checked in and found that my fifth floor room was near a street fair of some sort. The noise and vibrations from the fair lasted until at least 10pm. I mentioned this to the hotel clerk and was offered some ear plugs! I checked in early enough that I should have been offered a different room on the quiet side of the hotel.

I went for thunder over Louisville I did pick a city view but my room was on the 6th floor we did get to watch the fireworks from the window but next time I will look for a option to get a room higher up. It was fine I just need to spend more time making sure I get the room I want

The only bad thing is that they don’t validate parking for their garage. You have to pay the parking on top of paying for your stay. Seems ridiculous when you’re spending that amount for a room

The front desk staff were amazing and super nice. The only complaint I have is the breakfast. There were no options for people who do not eat pork and the food options were very limited. It was not worth the money at all.

The Hyatt Regency is a lovely hotel, with a convenient location to Fourth Street Live. The self parking could have been better, but I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a decent one, but nothing fancy. I think that would be the Grand Hyatt. There was no amenity in the bathroom such as q-tips or sewing kit etc. There was a broken hanger in the closet. The second day I was waken up by an alarm from the next room, which was unoccupied, the alarm went on for 10 minutes, this was before 6am, and there was no way to go back to sleep. I called the front desk to let them know, but I did not hear anyone coming to the room to check, the alarm stopped by itself after 10 minutes. There was no room service for food that I could find, which was kind of unexpected. Overall, it is good, but not a great place. The location is very good though.
