"Great location next the downtown area of Vernazza but off the street and minimal walking to access the accommodation. The stairs down from the loft bedroom is steep in case you have mobility issues. The sofa bed is within comfortability expectations. They very generously provided a welcome bottle of proseco and the studio had coffee and tea, pastries and biscuits. Perfect for our one night stay. "

"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "Absolutely loved this hotel and Santa Margherita de Ligure. It’s a fantastic place to stay, the area is absolutely beautiful and so easy to get around, the hotel is elegant, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food was fantastic quality. The breakfasts were superb, the patisserie worthy of Paul Hollywood. We ate once in the evening and it was v good but v expensive and there are some excellent restaurants in Santa Margherita. The poolside service was a bit slow- they bed a bit of training there, but tvat is a mi or matter. I’m telling everyone I know to go there, we loved it so much. Just one word of caution - you do need to be moderately fit or at least not completely unfit - the hotel is on a hill with fantastic views but it’s 130 steps down to the sea. We definitely came back fitter than we left - just as well with all that gorgeous patisserie at breakfast"
