"No restaurants within walking distance but The hotel offered a free shuttle both ways to the capital town of Fira (2miles away) where there were plenty of eateries. The concierge booked us 2 incredible excursions - the first was a private guided tour by car around the island (5 hours). The second was a day/sunset catamaran cruise. "

There were a few restaurants/coffee shops/places to grab food right next door and there were a few restaurants walkable (on the side of the road) that were amazing. The town nearby was great! About a 10-20 minute walk but worth it and lots of options! "

"I wasn’t sure about staying here because it seemed off the beaten path, but we rented a car and would choose the town of Pyrgos and Skyfall over and over again. The town is quiet but there are good restaurants. There is a cute little market area within the white stairs of the town. The view is beautiful (sunrise), and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were all very helpful! We thought the having to reserve the gym in advance was going to be annoying, but it turned out to be no problem at all as we always got the time we wanted every day. We went in early October and had a room with a private hot tub, and this would be the only negative- we could never use the hot tub since they said the hottest it got to was 33°C and could be adjusted. It was too cold the whole time. It is centrally located to everything and well worth it for the peace and quiet to sleep outside of Fira or Oia. Definitely try the hike and ask about a traditional Greek experience with plate breaking and music. So fun. "

Breakfast service was wonderful and they even packed us lunchboxes due to early checkout. Pool area is kept nice. They provide beach towels as well. Parking is very convenient. Smart tvs in the room. "Amazing experience at the hotel. Very nice and quite apart from the last two nights when it was extremely bad weather so wind was a lot and couldn’t sleep properly plus our room Was on the top floor so maybe that’s why felt more wind. Apart from that very positive experience 😁"
