Great customer service at bars and restaurants. Walking distance to shopping strip. Room service took about an hour to bring water and clean towels. Carlos bartender was amazing. Charlene at underground has exceptional customer service care. Prices are great. Would stay again

Read the reviews before staying wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean our room was. Our hotel was pretty quiet. Parking was very close to the door every time. Didn't have to wait long for the elevator. Rooms were pretty good sized. And the A/C and heater worked pretty fast.

First room 222 the door didn’t lock and window could be slide open from inside second room the inside door handle was broken the people ubove me were loud and disrespectful office didn’t do nothing about it and wouldn’t refund my money also has bed bugs and roaches

Room was clean. I didn’t like the broken window wasn’t replaced correctly. The sound on my TV didn’t work for my first three days stay also my Neighbor was really loud, screaming all night pounding on walls and yelling standing on the porch pounding on the rails..

Cons were the bathroom sink drained very slow and there was no shampoo, conditioner or soap only one bar of handsoap. I had come prepared with our own restroom supplies so it didn't bother us much.

I just wanted a break. Nestled against the piney woods. Place was clean quiet plus cool air. Ir provided what i needed. Dog also semmed to enjoy just wanted to explore the woods even though last August he could barely walk from a snake bite.

I have to say I have stayed in hotels all over the USA and have had some great and aweful visits over the years and when I pulled up I was nervous because it was an old places but the room I had was absolutely awesome! It was cool when I opened the door, there was none of that old smell in there, and the room was spotless! Cleanest room and cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen! Thank you for making my stay great!

The property gives a low tier appearance and the one staff member didn’t seem overly enthused about the place. Random appliances set around the staircase, no breakfast or vending machines. Room itself was decent, but found a bottle of prescription meds by the bed upon check in. Shower and sink seemed a little beat up.

Okay for overnight

I just stayed one night and everything was satisfactory. I thought it odd that the beds had small square cushions without pillow cases for head rests rather than ordinary sleeping pillows with pillow cases. The clerk told me that all the beds in the motel were like that. Luckily, I brought my own pillow, so this was not a problem for me.

Disgusting

Not sure how this place got any positive reviews . Driving cross country and decided to stay to get some sleep checked in at 1030pm and left at midnight because of the unsafe unsanitary condition of the room . AC did not work and it was over 90 degrees that day . Bed had no actual sheets just blankets put on top of it and uncomfortable and itchy . Holes in the wall rust and calcium build up everywhere. The last straw was when a cockroach fell on my face when I was lay in bed trying to sleep. Waiting on my refund this place needs to be shut down and or reported to the health department. Stay far away .

Another hotels.com booking gets 'mislaid'.

When we arrive d at the property theydid not have our booking. The manager found a room for us in his brother's property next door but it turned out to be a stinky smokers' room and was charged at a higher rate. This is the second time in a year that a hotel has denied receiving a hotels.com booking so perhaps the fault lies with them.

The young lady at the front desk was very helpful but the place wasn't the cleanest and they charge a lot for dogs when the room was already damaged, wires sticking out of the wall, only 2 pillows for a king bed and oh yeah roaches everywhere. We had to sleep with the lights on and along with an uncomfortable bed didn't get much sleep. We were warned that if we paid for the room and not happy we wouldn't be able to get a refunded.

Took our money charged us a fee and canceled our reservation, did not refund our money lied about what happened and even is hiding and not willing to give a refund. Showed up to check in since we were driving on the road the day we booked the room, they allowed us to book after check in time before we left our house, i called and asked if we needed to move it to kust saturday and sunday since i booked it after the check in time and they said no that it be fine just to check in when we got there. We got into Kilgore and at the motel by 6 am, i tried to check in and they told me that they canceled the reservation and sold out the rooms. I asked if we wouls get a full refund due to the insurance we paid for on the app and they said yes. When i called again since i had not see the one key cash go back into my account and or the money we paid they said that i was beinf charged $119.50 for no call no show. I had to go to the Motel 6 next to them and pay $80 for a room which is a lot cheaper than this motel but they still had my reservation going on the app so some random person got my room and it was apparently fully paid for and they refused to do a refund when Expedia called. I called their main OYO center and they told me that the property "Agreed to a full refund and i will recieve a call from their agents to refund the $119.50" never received refund or the call. Do not recomend this motel.
