The bed was comfortable, but the building is in serious disrepair: curtains hanging off the rails, broken ceiling panels, peeling paint, loose bathroom tiles, and heavily worn carpets in the hallways. "We enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel. Not only was it an excellent location (in between the Rue Victor Hugo and Rue de la République and near Vieux Lyon), but the service was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The icing on the cake was the turn down service. We would absolutely return!"
