"Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. "

"We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). "This is the third time we have stayed at the black bear lodge in Stratton and every time we stay our experience is the same.. excellent. The staff are all so nice and accommodating, the property is clean and the breakfast is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it really is the perfect place to stay in Vermont.
