During the checkout, the credit card machine for payment was mal function and unable tonpay by credit card. Have to empty all our money to in cash.
We had booked a room with an extra person and therefore an extra bed. They never gave the extra bed. The room was also not clean. The bathroom door did not close all the way. Overall absolutely not the 4-star hotel that it claims to be. I'd give it a level of 2 star.
Excellent Location, right in the market, but little away from the crowd, ever ready helping staff , neat and clean rooms, excellent food . nothing negative about it .
The rooms are compact and nice. The A/C was working fine. The bathrooms were neat. The staff at the hotel were very nice. The Breakfast was great with lot of varieties like Live Counter of Masala Dosa & Omlette, Bread Butter/Jam, Vada Sambar, Poha, Upma Juices, Tea, Coffee etc.
The Buffet dinner was also great with Good Vegetarian dishes. Since I am a vegetarian, I do not have any idea about the Non Vegetarian items.
The location of the hotel is great as it is very near to the Market.
It was very wonderful stay with lots of activities to keep yourself occupied

Decent but expensive hotel
I stayed here with my family for 3 nights over the last week-end and returned yesterday.
The overall experience was very good. The hotel rooms are excellent and leave no room for complaint. The location is also pretty decent with close proximity to the market and the main thoroughfare.
The only think that rankles is the exorbitant price of food in the hotel. It was really ridiculous. I am not sure if they thought they were competing with the likes of Fariyas or Duke's at Khandala which claim to be 5*. And if so, they have a long way to go to catch up. The prices were just not rational.
The hotel staff was very helpful whenever required.
One of the major things that was an eyesore was the swimming pool. It was rather small in size and on top of that it was not maintained at all. My kids used it for the first day but just could not make themselves go in on the second day. That is something which the hotel needs to be serious about.
The last thing I would like to mention is the price. At around 5K, it is pretty expensive, and this price is surely on the higher side, compared to what was offered. Add to that the GST/taxes and you come with your pocket significantly lighter.
Good stay and food! Staff is helpful and courteous.

Comfortable Stay with Good Service
Comfortable stay. Quiet location. Hotel feels a bit run down but the service and friendliness of the staff makes up for the condition. Didnt really appreciate the music program on Saturday night as was looking for a peaceful holiday and the AC wasn't very effective. Overall a decent, comfortable stay.
The entire experience was not something to remember about. Hotel staff kept forgetting everything. They forgot to send our luggage to the room. They forgot to clean up the room. They forgot to send replacements to the room. The light switch kept getting off on its own. The reception staff had no smiles on their faces. As if they were not at all happy to see the guests.
The room was decent. Little small though.
Breakfast spread was limited. There were some items which were not really up to the mark. Like the coconut chutney..... seemed to be diluted with water to account for the number of guests.
Overall not value for money.

Our group of 7 stayed in 3 rooms
Each of us found the staff of the hotel to be functioning above average all the time! It was a great service. The facility was well maintained and attractive. We had no complaints about the food. The staff were responsive and presented a customer first attitude and did not balk at special requests or said they couldn't be done. They just responded as best they could to even unique circumstances.
Only downside was they did not have non-smoking rooms nor did they exclude smoking from the restaurant area.
Highly ok Hotel compared to price Charged. 100 times better quality of rooms available in better chains of hotels. Thanks To Mr. Salim who changed our room and made our stay comfortable.
IMO this hotel is not the worth the room rate they charge which is quite high. This is much smaller property with very few parking spots. I am not sure why location is stated as advantage because it is not on the main road but in a street - almost 1 KM from the main road.
The hotel is located in a quite place so it is great for relaxation. It is a good place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The food is good. The rooms are not extravagant, but they are quite comfortable.
It was very comfortable and a pleasant stay, only suggestion is that the hotel should start accepting amex cards

The room charges were a bit higher than normal as we stayed there during the long weekend holidays due to Ganesh festival. The staff is very well trained and has excellent attitude to serve and make your stay pleasant.

Stay at Citrus Hotel Lonavala
It is a descent property. I stayed in premium room which I found comfortable. Staff is courteous. Hotel can concentrate on providing better service through more recreation activities, better-trained staff and a little more concentration on room-cleanliness. Overall a good hotel to stay in. Bathroom was posh.

Cozy Hotel, But pricey !
Our experience was ok. The hotel's location is in the heart of the city. So if you are looking for a resort like experience, with scenic views etc, this is not the place. It's good for a business conference or if you are just looking for a place where you will rest for the night after seeing places around. There is limited parking. The room was ok. Spacious, but there was a big house just outside our window, so we couldn't keep the curtains open. Fan was making noise, the bathroom tap was leaking and over head lights were flickering. Considering the price we paid, we expected better.
However, the hotel staff is very friendly and that was very nice to see.
Great staff & service

Good property centrally located
We drove from Lavasa to Lonavala and stayed here. The hotel is located in some inner roads so it took some effort to find. (GPS wasn't too helpful). Reached late evening; got a complimentary citrus drink; and had a little hiccup regarding our room (the hotel said they were sold out whereas we had a confirmed booking voucher!) Once that was sorted out, the hotel got us a room - which was comfortable, well laid out and equipped with all the basic necessities.
Food at the hotel is good - enjoyed a mix of continental and oriental cuisine which was well made.
The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and proactive. As the hotel wireless was down, on their own they offered us a data card!
Overall good experience and we would stay there again.
