Great experience… beautiful setting

Such a hidden gem! independently owned in a lovely small town so out of the hustle & bustle. Perfect size room, warmly decorated, with bright natural light, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Pizza restaurant underneath which has great tasty food made by the owner. Definitely pop to the coffee shops down the road aswell! Definitely recommend a stay here rather than in the city.

We had the studio apartment. It had a small kitchen, 2 double beds and a bathroom. Plus a small balcony. You could see mountains from the balcony and the window which was lovely. It was just the right size for the 2 of us and allowed us to cater for ourselves. The hosts were brilliant and even lent us their bikes. This offers so much more than an airport stop. Great place to stay! Loads of good walks around the area, I wish we had longer there!

Really great place to stay for families. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Excellent for families with with young children as there is sports equipment - football goals, trampoline and bikes to play on. There are also 3 washing machines and a tumble dryer so very useful if you have a longer stay. The stream is really nice for the kids to play in with tubes to ride down.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Planinka. The hotel was immaculately clean, with excellent attention to detail throughout. Always enjoy my stay at Grof Personally I prefer the guesthouse to the hotel (I have stayed in both) it just seems more homely, but regardless of where you sleep I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Grof. The restaurant and coffee shop is very well frequented by the locals, which is always a good sign.

The room was well maintained. Breakfast is a delight. The staff are wonderful and the young lady (Goldie horn look aLike is extremely helpful). As were other staff. Enabled to use motorcycle garage was a great help.

Really spacious room, and great value, right in the town centre.

We’re doing a tour of Slovenia and this was our favourite accommodation the staff were so helpful, the accommodation was immaculate we chose to have the breakfast and it was the best we’ve had so far ! We were cycling and the hosts happily stored our bikes and gave us directions of where to go and swim in the river which we did and enjoyed immensely would love to stay again when we’re in the area 5 stars are not enough

Lovely place with great staff. Only stayed one night after getting in late from the airport but had a lovely time in Kranj

Very friendly and helpful management and a great base in a relaxed quiet location to walk to the old town. Great breakfast too.
