The person who checked us in was fine. Everything was fine....until.... until it wasn't. On our 2nd night, about midnight, we found a bed bug. Went to front desk to inform them, was told basically - sucks for us. Due to the graduation at the University all the rooms were booked and there was nothing they could or would do . We ended up leaving, who wants to sleep with bed bugsfor us. Was told to speak with the morning people. Morning people said we had to speak with manager and he would not be in until Monday. I left a message asking that he contact me Monday. Did not hear from him. I called Monday and he was not available. I left another message. Tuesday, did not hear from him. I called and left another message. Wednesday I have not heard from him. Called, left another message. I contacted Expedia who I booked the room through. Was told several days later from Expedia that they were not able to reach him and there was nothing else they could do.
I understand that bed bugs are something you cannot always control. I even understand that as far as they knew, we brought the bugs in. But, to not even speak to an unhappy client is horrible and shows how little this manager cares about his guests. I just wanted to have a conversation with this man. They showed I mattered so little to him & this organiztion that I will NEVER use this company again. I will tell EVERYONE I know about the experience I had. IF he could not even talk with me, what else is he willing to do or not do.
