"Overall the hotel was great. But mattresses (both the main one and definitely the sofa bed) were in need of replacement. Staff was really amazing, breakfast was great, kid loved the pool, and hotel was clean. Replace the mattress and it’d be perfect."

"Overall great, very cozy with beautiful sunset views. It had everything we needed for a stay in fort garland, my only complaint was that the tiny fridge in the room I got never got cold enough to keep anything cold so bring an ice chest for your perishables."

"The toilet in our room was broken and wobbled. Multiple pictures were missing from the walls and the hooks were just hanging. There was no shampoo and if you wanted or needed your room made up, you had to request it the day before. We picked out a popsicle from their store for our daughter and they were all melted and refrozen blobs. The large water slide was closed, but the pool was open and water was warm & clean. The best way to describe the entire hotel was that it appeared to be in the middle of a renovation that was never fully completed, but had just enough done to give the impression it was in good condition."

"This is a great find... When you look at the outside it doesn't look like 5 stars...but if you are visiting the Great Sand Dunes this is the place to stay... Very nice staff ..A complete breakfast and a large well appointed room... Could not have been happier with our choice of the Dunes!!"
