Stubble field and clipped hedgerow, Llandow The green strip in the foreground is adjacent to, but separate from, a much larger field and is just a few meteres across and no more than 50 long. There is a road immediately beyond the hedge with a stubble field sloping up toward the site of the old airfield. A low hangar can just be made out on the horizon and in front of the copse to its left can be seen a small block house used for defensive purposes.
