"Suite 2. Good location - next to a nice pub and another a couple of mins down the road. Good access to waterfalls and mountains. Rooms are nice, aircon, large tv, clean. Downsides - shower head was massive and came out so lightly, bed was slightly dipped in the middle and parking was all taken around our side.
Staff lovely and the bacon baguettes for breakfast great."
"A very nice hotel with lots of character and quirky features. It is ideally located next to the gorge walk and has a few tables outside on the pavement to make the most of the views. We had a room at the top of the hotel with a comfy large bed and lovely bathroom. The staff are young and enthusiastic but lack leadership as witnessed in the dining room. They were disorganised and seemed rather lost. The food at dinner was fairly average but perfectly acceptable."
"This is the second time we have stopped here, room was lovely beds were comfortable, only thing that could have made it better was a better shower.
Food very good."
"The hotel is amazing inside and out and fully recommend a stay at this beautiful period property. All the staff are polite and cheerful and are happy to help with anything you need"
"Lovely stay, great location for the town and harbour. Friendly staff. Very large comfy room, however it was very noisy due to being on top on a lively bar, but to be fair it did all finish bang on midnight so wasn’t too bad. However noisy road traffic lasted all night and having only blinds and no curtains meant it was very bright early in the morning. Appreciated having a fan in the room as it was a hot time of year we stayed and you definitely couldn’t open the windows at night due to noise. The room and bathroom were tastefully decorated. And the breakfast was amazing, done to however you liked it. Would stay again"
"Lovely location and beautiful surroundings. Easy access room was very convenient and a good size. Beds were very comfortable.
Limited breakfast menu - no fresh fruit and not much choice on cereal. No gluten free options.
Housekeeping in room was disappointing. Towels were changed daily but bins were not emptied, nor beds remade.
The mini kitchen had microwave and fridge (very useful) but coffee/tea/ milks were not replenished, Only small cups for drinks.
Good experience but more effort could be made for guests."
"The owners are very trustworthy. It was so easy to check in. The room was lovely, the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast is continental with plenty of fruit, cereals, toast and other pastries."
