"Really a very clean hotel, good choice of breakfast foods ti choose from and bar snacks were very reasonably priced and was very tasty. Bar staff very efficient and friendly. We never ate at the hotel in the evening. Downside, location. With a set price taxi to the old town we didn’t miss out."

"Found this hotel on Expedia. Reviews were good, and this will be too. :-) Initial expectations were poor - the reception/check-in area is very small. We had taken note that local tax would be payable, but the folks in front of us had not and we're being a bit confrontational. But the check-in for us was painless and polite. The rooms were nice and clean and in good repair. The air con was a godsend!!!!!! We had rooms at the back overlooking the hospital, but there was no noise and while the "view" was poor, it didn't bother us as we wanted to be out and about. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the river, and less than 10 mins walk to restaurants and centre of town. It's also only 10 mins walk from the railway station, which for us was a reason to choose it. Would heartily recommend this as a good hotel situated reasonably. Rooms are clean and tidy, all facilities worked. I have no issue recommending this hotel. Would stay here again "
