"Sandy Balls was a nice place to stay with our family in the New Forest, which we chose mainly as we had travelled with our large dog The walks in the area were great and we spent a lot of time as a family exploring The pool and sauna on site were not great for adults without young children as it was very busy but perfect for those families that were expecting the rough and tumble nature of these holiday swimming pools. There were no Adult Only sessions either early or later which would have been appreciated for leisure and exercise outside of the main family hours"

"This is our second visit, perfect location, beautiful setting right by the river, rooms very spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean, staff very efficient and friendly, Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from, they also offer a free shuttle service into Salisbury in the evenings, will definitely be back."

"We occupied room 24, where we received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and supportive. Overall, the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. However, the toilet closet was not entirely clean from the previous guest's use. I reported this to the staff, who promptly came to the room to conduct their checks. They returned to inform me that it was a stain on the side rather than dirt. I did not want to impose further, as they were very kind and approachable. I returned to the room and cleaned the toilet myself before using it. We enjoyed a pleasant breakfast, and my son particularly liked their breakfast menu. Overall, the staff were very kind and approachable, making it a good place to stay. The customer service is trustworthy.Also,they valued people of every ethnicity and interacted with them respectfully."

"They didn’t tell us they didn’t have any room on the ground floor day one when I had booked the hotel and requested a ground floor room for our disabled friend. But when the day came, they sent an email and said they haven’t had any room in the round floor and they were going to prepare one for us with on top £40. Even thought they finally didn’t charge for it and we decided to have a room on the first floor instead. However, their way of managing the case was weird. They should not do it this way."
