"If you are looking for somewhere central this apartment is in the very centre of town and the Saturday market. It is not for those less able as there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment. When you are at the front door the neighbours dog barks. We appreciate there is nothing that can be done about this. "Our room was generously sized ,with 2 chairs and a desk with chair. Thankfully had a fan as our room was on 3rd floor. Room had a new carpet so it made it extra warm. Plenty of USB ports as well. Had breakfast,one full English first morning and cereal the next. You could have had both. We ate out as on the weekend there was no evening meal option. Parking was easy as there is a large car park at the rear accessed from the front of the property. £10 a night,more if reserved. A comfortable traditional hotel in the heart of Worcester,with very pleasant staff. Would go again."

"The staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and polite. The position of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area. The room size was fine and the amenities good. What the room needed was air conditioning, I realise it is extreme heat and a fan was provided but I believe it was way too hot and oppressive. The water system was ropey and waiting for the water to arrive and the bathroom in general needed updating. However the room was clean."

"We booked a one night stay at the George and will 100% stay again. Please bear in mind that this is a very old building so it is not perfect but at the same time does not show and major issues. The room was clean with a large comfortable bed and all the usual bits and pieces. The lady in charge is very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. The restaurant is a Ghurka and I must say that the food is absolutely amazing and shouldn't be missed. The George is in a nice location directly opposite the Severn Valley Railway station and about a 15 minute walk into town. There are only 2 parking bays which are reserved for disabled drivers but the car park directly opposite is a pay and display with a very reasonable charge of only £4 for 24 hours."

"Our only complaint was that we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all that was available. The accommodation was great (we stayed in a lodge), the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was great (Sunday roast buffet highly recommended), room was clean and well maintained and the bar and gardens were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again if we're in the area"
