"We absolutely loved our stay at Kontiki Beach Resort. The rooms are beautiful and our view was fantastic. We especially loved the little private plunge pool on the deck — it made the stay feel extra special. The beach area is very lively with great restaurants, beach clubs, and plenty of shopping nearby, so there is always something to do. Just be prepared for loud music on Wednesday nights due to the beach club events, but aside from that it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back."

"The reason why I gave this hotel a "terrible" grade is that I didn't stay there. Though advertised as having a room available, when I arrived, I was told they didn't have one and claimed they told Hotels.com there were no rooms. This was annoying because my flight was cancelled due to a storm in New York and I wouldn't be able to get back home until Thursday. I was forced to take other accommodations which were horrible. My question was, why would they advertise rooms that aren't available? I couldn't get a straight answer. "

"Spectacular stay! Loeki is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. This is more of a B&B experience. Grounds are impeccable and room was clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the double room on the main floor. Room was on the small side, even for a couple, so next time I would stay on the second floor. There’s a bit more privacy on the second floor as well. There’s a communal fridge and kitchen which you are welcome to use. Coffee, homemade artisan teas, and cold water(fruit infused or plain) is available at any time. The house dogs are well behaved and a joy to be around - you need to be comfortable with animals. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Loeki was easily able to accommodate a gluten- free diet. You’re a short 7 min drive from Jam Thiel beach and many others within 15 min. Close to Willemstad but still in nature, right next to the salt pans - beautiful trails you can easily access from the property. I cannot say enough great things about Plantation Jan Thiel! It’s important to note that it’s a country chic place so go with that expectation. We loved it and hope to return again soon!"

"Room was clean with a beautiful ocean view, private beach, 2 large pools and a Jacuzzi. Free shuttle to supermarket, Mambo Beach, Jan Theil beach, downtown Williamstad & more. Staff very friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend this resort. "

"We loved this place! The staff was very nice, professional, friendly and helpful. We had an ocean view room was perfect with a large balcony for morning coffee. Enjoyed the 2 pools, beach areas and the beach bar was lively but not crowded & loud. Breakfast was buffet and/or Ala carte. "

"We had a great view from our room. We had upgraded to ocean front . Room was very spacious. Amanda and Peter are the absolute highlights of this place. Would definently return and recommend this resort to others . "
