"I chose the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort for a solo birthday trip, and overall I had a good experience. The location was convenient, and I appreciated the shuttle service, which offered rides to downtown Willemstad, the Curaçao sign, the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery, grocery stores, and evening trips into town. This was especially helpful since I did not rent a car. The staff was friendly and responsive throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room upon arrival. The shower curtain was dirty and needed to be replaced, and the condition of the bedding made me question whether the sheets had been changed before check-in. My concerns were addressed when I brought them to the staff's attention, but I believe housekeeping standards and room inspections could be improved. One of the highlights of my trip was Olas y Copas, the restaurant next to the resort. The food was excellent, the breakfast was very good, and Diego and his team were phenomenal. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. I also enjoyed visiting the Sea Aquarium. The interactive exhibits were fun and allowed visitors to get up close to the animals. One tip: if you participate in feeding the sharks, keep an eye on the birds. They are surprisingly aggressive and may take the food right out of your hand. I learned that the hard way! Overall, I enjoyed my birthday trip and appreciated the location, shuttle service, nearby attractions, and dining options."

"Amazing trip for families. We had a family of 5 for a senior trip to celebrate my daughter. It had all the things from snorkeling to sunbathing to fun night parties and shopping right on the beach. It was beautiful and the staff was all very friendly. Food was a little expensive and there was construction right outside our rooms but still worth it"

"Curaçao Holiday Vacation Rental: Violet Blossom Pro: The large outdoor patio living space was nice. Close parking to our unit. The grounds were lovely and the pool is nice. The beach is nice, but the lawn chair issue took away from the enjoyment of the beach and pool. (See cons)The grounds and the unit were clean. We enjoyed the view from our patio. It’s a very close walk to Mambo Beach BLVD where there are restaurants and beaches. If you leave the front door and back door open there is a lovely breeze that flows through the unit. The staff were lovely and were very available when we had questions or needed anything. We felt safe. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to spend our vacation. Cons: #1 Lawn Chairs by the pool and beach are torture. Hard plastic that hurt to sit on. I ended up going to Mambo Beach and paying additional money to rent a comfortable chair. #2 Our unit had a water leak in the hall bathroom that was coming from another unit. Water was pooling on the bathroom floor our entire stay. Staff came to look at it many times but it was never resolved. #3 The oven didn’t work. Someone came to show us “how to use it”, but it literally did not work. #4 The dryer is unvented and the water catcher barely had any water it in but instead it heated up the whole bathroom and everything in the bathroom got soaked. #5 The Wifi is only available in the unit and not at the pool or beach area."
