"I had a south facing room and the outside noise was extremely annoying and abnoxious! I have stayed at the Red Lion for years and was raised in Kalispell. The diesel trucks and cars were speeding through the south parking lot of the hotel until well after 10:00. Any chance of rest and relaxation was impossible, not to mention the danger of families walking in the area. Barbara Cooper"
"Under renovation and not ready for guests. No fan no hooks in bath. No place to hang clothes. No room temperature available but we were provided with a portable AC unit, which meant the tiny corner available as a sitting space was blocked and which of course was loud. Our room had a direct view of a pretty dirty roof and right in to the next door room bed like inches!!! I definitely recommend an eye mask as there are only slap blinds and earplugs has the walls are thin and the doors heavy. It is a charming hotel full of quirks and we did enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable. Good coffee and nice touches of cookies, tea, popcorn. The breakfast was the same both mornings and not very good- but several ootions."
"The parking was very difficult, there was homeless people outside in parking lot, stains on the shower curtain, no screens in the windows, there wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom, the soap containers were filled with water, the bed was the most uncomfortable felt like sleeping on metal springs all night. Won't stay again."
"Room was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Pool was unusable. My biggest complaint is a $100 security deposit if paying with a debit card or cash. There should be a highly visible disclaimer."
