If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19, you'll notice plenty of new regulations and rules in place. Follow these tips and make your escape to Little Abaco Island go off without a hitch:

• Know the rules and restrictions in both your origin and destination. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so check before you lock something in.
• You must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at security checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA officer.
• Rather than handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, position it straight on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• You're permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed for screening.
• Empty everything from your pockets, such as your phone, keys and wallet, and put them in your carry-on rather than the bins. This will minimize handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray scanning. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.
