Communication was very good. The plumbing all worked right (we're on a budget, so a couple of previous rooms set the bar pretty low - they were all clean though), the room was an exceptional value (late October). We really liked the common kitchen area right next to our room - we used it a lot. We also liked Lipari so much we extended our stay for 2 more days in the same room. I don't remember if we ever got the WiFi working in the room. I was having phone trouble, but my wife couldn't pick it up either, so i think it was the signal. That was really the only negative thing.

We were in Italy 5 weeks, and Lipari was my favorite place. We liked it so much we decided to stay two extra days. We used the common kitchen area and had an enjoyable time meeting others doing the same thing. It made our room seem twice as large.

Hotels bien placé certes. Les chambres sont vétustes, le linge sale, pas de rideaux, vous dormez en plein jour, la qualité des matelas est horrible. Je ne comprends meme pas comment il peut être noté 9/10, la cuisine colllective est bien avec une belle terrasse etc par contre vraiment les chambres sont pas confortables, je ne recommande pas du tout. Et le service d hôtels,com la dessus a également était absolument NUL

Wonderful!

It was a perfect location for seeing the old town and the owners were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped us find another room when they were full on our return from Stromboli and find a rent car for a day on Lipari. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and in a pleasant space. Would definitely recommend this stay!

La posizione della struttura è ottima, noi abbiamo soggiornato in un monolocale all, interno di una via che pur essendo vicina alla via principale è risultata silenziosa e tranquilla. Il bagno è molto piccolo e privo di bidet, la doccia è scomoda perché a ridosso del water. Utile una mini- cucina fornita del necessario. La colazione viene servita in una terrazza panoramica. Massima disponibilità dei gestori. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Great location - great hospitality

Stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to the Eolian islands. Location was perfect, very central with maximum 5 min walking distance to everything. Luigi was a very welcoming and helpful host throughout our stay. Would reccommend this stay to everyone seeking a place with central location and a familiar vibe.

Struttura in posizione comoda e centrale, eppure non rumorosa. L'esposizione della stanza era tale da non rendere necessario nemmeno l'uso dell'aria condizionata, tuttavia questo la tendeva un poco troppo scura. Bellissimo e luminoso il terrazzo usato per le colazioni, con disponibilità di uso cucina personale. Camera e bagno non spaziosi ma decisamente sufficienti ai nostri 4 pernottamenti. Luigi, il gestore, molto loquace, gentile e utile con i consigli. Ha spiegato che gestisce altri B&B in Sicilia con gli altri soci della Cooperativa. Ragione in più per premiare chi, con spirito di intraprendenza ed entusiasmo, ha deciso di fare della ben nota ospitalità siciliana il proprio mestiere!

Super friendly and welcoming!

This was a really nice place. The service was outstanding, breakfast classic Italian style with fresh bread made in the oven each morning. The wifi was a bit shaky, but I think that is probably the case for large parts of the island, I would not blame the hotel for this. I recommend it.

Bellissima struttura nel cuore di Lipari

Bellissima struttura nel cuore di Lipari, a pochi passi dal corso principale, a tre minuti da Marina Corta da cui partono tutte le escursioni per l'Arcipelago delle Eolie, camera matrimoniale moderna dotata di balconcino, bagno con doccia, ottima colazione ed infine Vittorio con il quale abbiamo stabilito da subito un rapporto amichevole, gentile, simpatico e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Grazieeeeeeee

Très décevant. Un endroit juste pour dormir.

La chambre que nous avons occupée au 1er étage était quelconque. Elle n'est pas très grande, donne sur une allée étroite avec un grand mur laid qui laisse la pièce dans une demi-obscurité et oblige à allumer la lampe en plein jour. Balcon trop petit et sans intérêt pour la vue (à droite un balcon délabré plein de gravats). Le moteur d'un réfrigérateur ou d'une chambre froide se déclenche bruyamment à intervalles réguliers dans l'allée. Peu d'isolation phonique par rapport aux chambres voisines. La télé était en panne (peu nous importait, mais elle aurait dû fonctionner). Les points positifs : l'accueil (par un employé parlant français) - la terrasse où on prend le petit-déjeuner (seulement de type continental) - la situation au cœur de la vieille ville - le WIFI gratuit (mais c'est banal aujourd'hui).

hotel, staff and location are amazing. breakfast is good and it's convenient that it has a fully equipped kitchen. however, the double bed is just 2 beds pur together that drift apart. please fix it.

Friendly guest house in wonderful Lipari

Enjoyable stay right in the middle of pretty Lipari. Perfectly located for ferry port, marinas, and all local amenities. Really helpful, relaxed and friendly. Allowed us to leave bags on day of arrival and departure. Helpful tips for daytrips. Would recommend.

Great place to stay. I spent 4 nights at the guesthouse and found it a safe and secure place to be. It was centrally located, small but quite comfortable apart from the stairs as I was on the second floor and there was no elevator. Luigi was very friendly and very helpful, he also made a fantastic coffee for breakfast.

Perfect B&B in the centre of Lipari town

Great B&B, Luigi is super friendly and friendly, our room was quiet and comfortable, breakfast served on the terrace, shame we could only stay one night on Lipari!

Feels like staying at a friend's home

Very friendly reception by Luigi so we immediately felt like staying at a friend's home. Clean and spacy room (no. 5) with balcony and nice view on green hills and wonderful landscape. Fridge and hairdryer available as well as adapter for electricity. Even a possibility to dry clothes outside on the balcony which also had two chairs. Breakfast was good (oven-fresh croissants, juice, tea, butter, marmelade, cookies, bread). Only the coffee machine dient Workshop well - but probably only a temporary problem. The kitchen zone is also accessable for guests during the day (water heater, microwave). Luigi had also recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.

Personale cortese, albergo centralissimo, il titolare ci ha fatto trovare la quadrupla gia' rinfrescata, veramente gentile. Si potrebbe, tuttavia migliorare la colazione che e' gia' buona, ma si potrebbe arricchirla con yogurt, vari succhi, acqua gassata fresca, qualche crostata e affettati di frutta, di salame e uova sode pet renderla continentale.

Surpresa boa.

A estadia na Mamamia foi uma delícia, o lugar é central e silencioso ao mesmo tempo. O espaço respira limpeza e a simpatia e atenção do experiente anfitrião Caetano um mimo que sabe bem a qualquer viajante. Tanto eu como a minha mulher ficamos muito satisfeitos e sem dúvida, dada a relação preço/qualidade/localização recomendamos a qualquer amigo.
