"I stay at this hotel often. This visit was the best yet. The pool was warm and clean, new furniture in the pool area looked nice too. Its great to have coffee and hot water available but I wished they offered free drinking water. I understand paying for bottled water if thats what you want but having drinking water available would be great even if its just during breakfast hours"
"People yelling and cussing in the early hours of the morning. There is no breakfast only coffee. Staff very quiet people. Bathroom was messy and tub was dirty. Would not stay here again."
"This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. First, we are in town to visit our son at the university and he was with us upon check in. The guy at the desk wasnt going to let him come to our room to visit. When i explained that we were just viaiting and he was going back to the dorm, the guy said he needed to stay in the lobby. Then our door wouldnt unlock and they had to let us in with a master key. They tried 3 sets of keys before changing the lock mechanism. After we came back from dinner, the door to our room was wide open. The manager said nobody broke in because he watches the cameras. Then, about a minute later, said there were kids running in the hall and knocking on doors, they must've pushed the door open. The pool area was GROSS!!!! Every window is cracked and the door was so rusted and dirty, I didn't want to touch it. We decided to not use the pool. Then, in the morning we discovered only 2 towels for 3 people registered in the room. And they were the thinnest towels ever! And the walls are paper thin, you can literally hear the conversations in the hall and other rooms, nit to mention every footstep above you. The entire hotel gave me the willies. I would NEVER EVER stay here again!"
"Bed was squeaky Everytime you moved ...no hot water and the adjoining room partied until 4 am banging on the walls.was terrible, the front desk worker was great but the only thing good about the place"
"The Lismore is in a great location in a downtown section of Eau Claire. Easy walking distance to unique locally owned stores and restaurants. The hotel lobby is spacious and beautiful. Great coffee shop and fabulous restaurant located within the hotel as well, Rooftop bar with awesome cocktails, too! The room was very clean, Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Only downside was parking. The only option was parking in a creepy parking ramp which made me nervous and uncomfortable."
