"First off, I expected a lot more from this place. It is dubbed as a "luxury" houseboat, but it had very little hospitality. There was a "welcome bag" in the kitchen with 1 roll of toilet paper (why not just put it in the bathroom??), some cleaning cloths, enough coffee for 2 cups, a tiny pouch of soap for one shower and some trash bags. The bed linens aren't even put on the beds; we had to do it ourselves! No towels either. We were expected to take out the trash, too. The price was waaaay too...

This is a lovely hotel. Most of all the staff... so so nice! The room didn't have airco which for some could be an issue. The room was very nice but there is a road in front that is busy and a bit loud. However, the staff is excellent, friendly and the breakfast was very very good. Would i stay again? Yes.

Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified.

I stayed here for a couple of nights for a recent business trip and found this hotel to be fantastic. In my job role I have to travel quite a lot and therefore stay in a lot of hotels... I can safely say that I believe this hotel is one of the best, if not thee best hotel I have ever stayed in. It has everything you could possible wish for in a hotel. Lovely hotel. Really nice, quiet, comfortable bed. Only thing to be aware of is the stairs are very steep so if you have mobility issues, this might not be the hotel for you but the lovely staff offered to take my bag up for me.
Nice breakfast and setting near a canal in an old industrial area which has been spruced up. Really lovely would stay there again.

The staff was really friendly. As it was my first time in Netherlands and Uden members of staff help me around, gave some pointers, suggestions, and overall were very friendly.
The location of hotel is great! Not far from bus station, 5mins away from hotel there is Take-out store, that is open until 2am (which is great as I was coming back from conference past mid-night, and didn't have to wait until morning...

I was on a cycling holiday across the Netherlands and had cycled 50km when I arrived at the property. While checking I realised that I had left my bank card in the previous town some 10 km away. The proprietress checked me in without payment and after I had a badly needed shower drove me there and back to collect their card. Really friendly and personable and a very comfy bed!
