Well appointed room. All towels and bedding in good condition. Fireplace was very nice. Price of room well worth price. Pool, thank you for not having freezing water. So nice for the parents and grandparents.

Room was clean and no real complaints. Looks like they took an old hotel and revamped it to look new and improved. They did a good job. Breakfast was just okay as it was all prepackaged foods only, but yeah. Decent place.

Amazing views, we enjoyed walking to dinner and the beach. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. My only complaint, there are no deadbolts on the doors.

The view from the patio was incredible. The bed was exceptional, the sheets and pillows were clean and very soft. I slept incredibly well and woke up to the roaring ocean right out of the sliding door. The room was clean and smelt very good. I was very satisfied with my stay and felt safe and relaxed.

Overall stay was good. Room was clean. Updated furniture and decor. Beds comfortable but we had a 1 bedroom suite where the back bedroom window looked out into the parking lot. The parking lot was not the problem - the "roll down shade" they provided for the window did not block out the lights right outside the window, so light came in from around the top, left, and right side of the roll down shade, though the shade itself is "black out" material. It made it bright in the room and difficult to sleep. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

This was a very nice facility and we thoroughly enjoyed our room. However, the provided breakfast was very meager and there is no provision to eat in the breakfast area. We had to take it back to our room. For such a nice facility, we were very disappointed in the "free breakfast."

New years getaway
We stayed four nights and loved our stay. We had a fireplace in our room which made it feel nice and cozy. The view is spectacular. They provide delicious local coffee in room. Bed is comfortable and rooms are very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an awesome property. Everything is new and clean. All the rooms face the ocean so you see the beauty and hear the waves all the time! Access to the sand is right there, out your door. I wouldn't recommend an upper floor suite, as the bedroom is not facing the ocean; it's on the street-side. I prefer to wake up and look at the ocean. This is a great little place. You'll like it. t

Loved the views of the ocean. The room was clean and bed was nice. I’d caution folks about two things though. Stairs down or up to some rooms. No elevators. Also, parking is limited and spots are small. Our truck had to park out near the street and even then the spots are narrow.

The overall experience at Pelican Shores was wonderful! It appears that they have done a great job with upgrades and remodeling. Everything was clean and crisp. The only issue that we encountered was that the plumbing still needs some work. Let’s just say, that by the end of our time there we both knew where to go find the plunger. However, it was easily accessible and the problem was rapidly taken care of. Overall wonderful experience!

This place is wonderful. Right on the beach and so clean and quiet. The rooms were so cute and well worth the price. The only things I would like on my wish list of rooms - jacuzzi, walkable nice places to eat, and that the breakfast options were better and a. Single earlier than 8 am. But I would definitely come back again!
