"Staff: Welcoming, friendly, helpful, efficient and willing to go the extra mile. Executive Rooms 367 & 369: spotlessly clean and comfortable - good bed and choice of pillows but room a bit faded and dated - needs a bigger TV as distance from bed is too far for comfortable viewing. Lift out of action - not helpful - Best Western need to sort this pronto Spa & Pool: closed for refurb - needs sorting. Breakfast and Bar meals....good."

"We have stayed at The White Hart several times and always enjoyed our visits. This time was in the middle of the heat wave and the temperature outside was in excess of 32 degrees. The hotel room was exceeding hot and there was no fan which given the heat, we thought there would of been one in the room as standard. Hopefully this be changed by our next visit, especially as we seem to be having many more hot spells"

"The Crown b&b is a warm inviting, cosy establishment. The owners are very friendly & helpful. There is a small bar area which is well stocked. You can relax on one of their sumptuous sofas. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. Our room covered all our requirements, tea, coffee & water were provided. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was very clean but well used. The breakfast provided was substantial with a full English, cereal, juice and tea/Coffee. We would highly recommend a stay here if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle. Tattershall & Woodhall Spa are in close proximity."

"The location is excellent - so close to the castle and cathedral. There are two very good real ale pubs just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to get free parking the whole of the week. The weather was hot, so air-conditioning would have been nice, although its a listed building so probably a challenge."

"Very comfortable and clean room. Love the claw foot bath tub and the cookies were delicious! A bit hot in the room as there is no AC and the fan has to work overtime. Very close to the cathedral and town center. Breakfast was delicious with good variety."
