The room was very nice and the hostess was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and this location is convenient to Giverny. I’d recommend it to anyone in the area.

The most comfortable room, kindness host, gorgeous gardens, delicious breakfast. An absolutely perfect spot to relax, recharge and enjoy Monet’s gardens. We will be dreaming of our stay here for years to come.

Beautiful property so close to Monet’s Garden - an absolute must stay if you want to explore the region , my only concern was not being able to stay multiple evenings to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

This is simply an extraordinary B&B. The owner, Veronique, was welcoming and informative. The cottage was modern, artfully decorated and was situated above a scenic river. Everything was clean and the breakfast fresh and delightful. This is one of the best B&B’s we have visited. It is a true gem and that should not be missed on a trip to Giverny and environs.

The hostess was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast variety was wonderful including scrambled eggs from her chickens. Conveniently located town had great souvenirs of the region. We weren’t far from Mont St Michel and planned the whole day there with beautiful weather.

A beautifully situated property. Our "cottage" was well appointed, quiet and situated beside a river - very tranquil. Our hostess Victoria was terrific, very accommodating and prepared a tasty breakfast each morning with fresh baked goods. Our only regret was that we were unable to stay longer. Highly recommend and thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely charming and so very well appointed! The cottage had 2 bedrooms and a very large bathroom. We were greeted by the owner who showed us all of the necessary information regarding the property. Breakfast was hearty and delicious! It was just beautiful!

Heavenly Stay Near Giverny

This property is beautiful and pristine, with an expansive yard and gardens along a river. Just a few minutes drive from Giverny, the cottage we stayed in was right on the riverbank, with ample outdoor furniture to enjoy the setting. Inside was perfection, too — extremely clean, upscale decor, comfortable beds, and a huge modern bath and dressing room. Our charming hostess was extremely helpful and accommodating, and each morning she delivered a classic French breakfast to our door. Highly recommended!

One of the best places we have stayed! A charming cottage with everything you could need set amongst a landscape of beautiful gardens. We had dinner on our lovely patio and strolled the many unique areas filled with flowers and garden art finally settling by the river with a glass of wine. Heavenly! Comfortable beds, large shower, small but efficient kitchen and good living space inside and out. Our host Veronique could not have been more lovely or helpful. We will return for a much longer visit.

Excellent hotel & vg location for Monet's Garden

We stayed at L'Oree de Giverney for 2 nights which should have been 3 but unfortunately we had car problems so were late arriving. Everything was just perfect! Our room was immaculately clean with a full kitchen, table and chairs, lovely large shower room and a private terrace. Guests also had use of a wonderful garden leading down to the river, and even bicycles to use. The bed was so comfortable and the area was so peaceful that we slept like logs. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, croissants, butter and home made jam, baguetts and cheeses. To be honest, there was so much we made a picnic for lunch. Veronique and her husband were excellent hosts, and very kind and understanding about our delay. Monet's garden is close by (would recommend pre-booking) and also a lovely town called Vernon. Near the gardens is a nice little riverside bar, and we ate at Parenthesis which was very good. We would definitely stay here again, and have already highly recommended L'Oree de Giverney to friends. We'd like to return later in the year to see the waterlilies - but we'll make sure we book well in advance !

I would highly recommend staying here, Veronique was very accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! The gardens around the bed and breakfast are gorgeous and very peaceful. She also was very kind to give my sister and I a ride to the train station when we were not able to find a taxi.
