Ok location, horrible restaurant.
Old decor, broken mini fridge, horrible restaurant. Bad service at dinner/ breakfast. The location is right next to Hunderfassen park and that is a good thing.

Fabulous and authentic
Breakfast and light dinner “buffet” included in the stay made it a very reasonable stay. Lovely hotel with cabins to rent that have lots of activities to offer. Free shuttle bus to the slopes is a great offer although we decided to drive.

Disappointing stay
The shower room is too small. The furniture in the room is very old. The bunk bed is too small for my 17 year old son. The breakfast buffet is good.

Nice hotel close to Lillehammer
Hunderfossen Hotell & Resort is clean hotel located close to Lillehammer. We stayed one night here, did not have a chance to have breakfast next morning, but breakfast in Norway hotels is usually good. We were served a sour upon checking-in late which was nice. Not a fancy hotel, rooms are small, but it was clean.

Nice hotel
The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. The furnishings in the room were a bit dated, but everything was functional. We would stay there again. The hotel staff was very friendly.

Nice, but a bit tired
We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel needs a bit of work. The bathroom was dated and the shower cubicle tiny. Nice location but around 13.5kms drive from Lillehammer.

Very cute little hotel in the park. Breakfast was pretty good but should be until 11am. Bar should be bigger in lobby with service. (Prob was slow season for them so only one person at desk) Front desk staff was nice but not overly helpful in planning or helping to organize activities in the area. Restaurant had very limited menu and very short hours so never ate therr for dinner. No lunch available. Rooms were on the small side and very basic. They also didn’t turn over the rooms and change towels unless we asked them to. Place could use a pool gym or sauna or any spa amenities for winter guests.

Family Hotel
This hotel was in the country. The focus is on families with young children, and it does very good job entertaining this group. In addition, there are hiking trails and outdoor children play areas and an amusement park. We enjoyed our stay and we felt our room was charming and comfortable. We would have liked additional pillows because only one small pillow per person was provided. The staff was very friendly and the food was good.

Awesome location, great service, nice facility Check out the immediate surroundings, there are walking trails, a free and very excellent museum (Norwegian Vehicle Museum), a theme/family park, and a beautiful dam.

Lovely and charming hotel, great staff
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, terrific restaurant and free bus shuttle to Hafjell. In a lovely setting and was there during a more quiet time rather than the summer months when I suspect it is much busier.

Ask about the non existent small print!
Good location, lovely place, comfortable rooms and nice people. Unfortunately when the reservation says 'evening meal included' what it really means is 'soup and bread'. This wouldn't be a problem if it were communicated to you when you check in or when you were presented with the menu. This minor oversight meant we were almost £400 over budget for the three night stay. Shame as it is my last memory of an otherwise pleasant stay.

De ansatte var veldig hyggelige på hotellet. Hotellet er gammelt og bar preg av det. Håndtaket på badet datt av og sovesofaen som vår 10 åring lå på var ganske ubehagelig. Fjærene gikk gjennom madrassen og det var mykt noen steder og harde stenger andre steder.

Greit nok for en natt.
Greit nok for en natt. God plassering, rask inn- og utsjekking. Senger som er klar for utbytting. Skuffende utvalg og service mht frokost. Når en kommer til frokost ca kl 09 så forventer en at det er mat tilgjengelig. Tomme bokser og fat, brødskalker osv. Med et så tynt utvalg i utgangspunktet og rompris på nesten 2000 blir dette for dårlig!

3. etasje (standard rom?) blir veldig varme på sommeren dersom gradene bikker 25-30 grader, spesielt hvis rommet peker mot sør.

Slitt, overpriset hotell med trange rom!
Blid, imøtekommende resepsjonist som ga oss et oppgradert rom med balkong. Rommet med dobbeltseng og køyeseng for 3 netter som opprinnelig var booket og som barnet hadde gledet seg til var likevel ikke ledig. Barnet trillet ut av den høye, smale enkeltsengen den ene natten. Høy og hard pute for et lite barn. Ingen air condition. Rommet og badet var fryktelig trangt og derfor svært ukomfortabelt. Rengjøringen var upåklagelig. Hotellet fremsto som gammeldags og slitt. Bra med kinotilbud for barn, et lekerom, legobord i Fossekroa, utendørs lekeplass. Disney + på tv hadde gjort seg. Lite utvalg og latterlig overpriset i hotellets restaurant Fossekroa. Frokostutvalget var helt minimalt. Kun 1 baconskive pr speilegg. Mye var tomt. Når nugattiboksen gikk tom fredag morgen hadde de ikke mer de påfølgende dagene til barnets skuffelse. Den siste dagen ble jeg og barnet nektet å sette oss ved et ledig 4 manns bord ved veggen siden vi kun var 2 stk. De andre 2 manns bordene var opptatt. Vi ble isteden henvist til et ledig 4 mannsbord midt i lokalet. Barnet var trøtt og det var støyete rundt oss. Da 2 voksne satte seg ved 4 manns bordet inntil veggen ble de ikke henvist til et annet bord (!). Tur med svane tråbåt, minigraver og minigolf koster ekstra. Praktisk beliggenhet mtp nærhet til Eventyrparken, Barnas Gård og togstasjonen. Velger et billigere og bedre hotell neste gang!
