A little gem close to Lille

I had the pleasure of spending 3 days here and everything was just perfect. The very personal touch from the host made it a very memorable experience and I would certainly stay here again. As a solo traveller it was also very nice to meet and chat with the other guests at the communal breakfast table - another nice touch.

Lovely house where we had a very comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom. Superb breakfast with wonderful homemade breads jam and cake. Plus cheese yoghurt, fruit coffee and tea. There is als a military museum. It’s walking distance to the tram too. Pretty garden and a swimming pool!

Lille home

Garden and pool were lovely, as was landlady. The house was in a residential area , about a mile from public transport links and about 4 miles outside Lille. This was like a family home with a family atmosphere provided by Isabelle who made us a lovely breakfast every morning.

Host was excellent, very helpful for local knowledge. As we were travelling by motorcycle it was appreciated to be offered use of their private garage. Room was comfortable, clean and we had view over the garden. The breakfast had home made conserves and bread, plenty of Tea Juice and coffee. As we had a long day on the bike, the restaurants were a fair walk away and bookings were required, so ordered in that evening and the trust fridge, which had wine and beer to select from was utilised. Most local restaurants seem to shut on the Wednesday evening. Q; Would we stay again? - YES

Lovely place a short drive from Lille. Owner was lovely, very helpful and accommodating. A really cool thing when we were there was that there was a room with WW1 memorabilia, that’s mentioned no where on the website or Expedia but is really interesting!

Kleines Bed-and-Breakfast-Hotel mit nur drei Zimmern, familiäre Atmosphäre im ehemaligen Familien-Wohnhaus mit schönem Garten. Selbstgemachte Marmelade der Wirtin zum Frühstück. Insgesamt liebenswert und angesichts des Preises sehr zu empfehlen, wenn es kein Luxus sein muss!
