"For the price, this budget hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the hotel, and especially our room had a really strong, unpleasant smell. I’d describe it as a mix of leftover cooking smells, pet smells and cleaner that tried to mask it. It was unpleasant to the point we had to open the windows and run the fan. Also, the doors seemed to slam so there was a lot of noise from other people coming and going and we could definitely hear our loud next door neighbors.
All of that being said, it was very very clean and the beds and bedding were comfortable and the room had all of the needed basic amenities. It was centrally located for us and the area, while near the freeway, felt safe and clean.
It felt a bit overpriced for what it was, but there were many many events in town (every hotel was sold out) so maybe it was priced higher than usual."
