"Breakfast was cold, bland, and sparse, hotel is old and worn, it was REALLY expensive for what we got. I'll look elsewhere next time."

"The king suite was missing the door to the bedroom. The couch that folds out into a bed was a twin bed. The fitted sheet they gave us for the fold out bed had multiple stains on it. The room was designed for ADA. The shower water went all over the bathroom floor. We didn’t have enough towels to clean it. Went to get more towels from the front desk and they didn’t have any. The guests above us had children that were running back and forth bright and early. I called the front desk. They stated they called them but it sounded like a bunch of children in the room and just told us sorry. At 7 am it sounded like the ceiling was going to fall in. "

"The parking lot was tiny. There was only one person working the front desk and it took over 20 minutes to get checked in because there were so many people ahead of me TV did not work The hot water in the shower was barely warm enough The Outlet on one side of the bed did not work so my phone did not get charged It was a Savannah Bananas game weekend at Kyle Field in College Station. The room rate was more than double and it was ridiculous. I will never stay here again!"

"Hotel McCoy is a hidden gem. Very eclectic and so fun. Room decor was so cool and interactive. Interior courtyard has so much to entertain your family. Only complaint - beds are too hard - they desperately need mattress toppers."

"Never had an experience like this before. Check in was fine until I went up to the room to find that the room details I booked through Hotels.com didn’t match what was given. Supposed to have a king with a queen pullout. There was no pullout, no other available rooms, and no working ice machines throughout hotel. Room was subpar clean. After a couple of weeks of persistence trying get a hold of someone, Hawthorn management said nothing they could do since it was booked through Hotels.com nobody has returned my call/email from Hotels.com either. Somebody dropped the ball big time on this scenario. Hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Highly disappointed!"

"The hotel was easily accessible off of State Highway six. The room was clean and the staff I interacted with were friendly. No issues with parking. Bathroom shower needed some maintenance as the lever for the shower was not working properly. Highway traffic noise was discernible from the room facing the highway."
