"Nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate! Grounds and rooms were clean and well-kept and staff was friendly. Beds were a bit firm for our preference, but not horribly so. However, there weren’t any blankets on the beds—just the flat sheets and the bedspread. It took a little trial-and-error to get the temp just right for sleeping w/out having a blanket, but we figured it out! “Breakfast” options were very limited, but luckily on this trip, we weren’t planning to eat at the hotel anyway. Worst case, there are several restaurants VERY nearby—even several just across the parking lot. Would definitely stay again when in need of a “no frills” night in Columbia."

"Such a bad experience that we left and went to another hotel and lost the $400 that we had already paid to Comfort Suites. Staff was rude and unhelpful and showed visible annoyance when we requested extra bedding. The “mattress” on the couch bed wasn’t a mattress at all, only a very thin pad. It was so uncomfortable that my kids chose to sleep on the floor instead. The pool was small and so over-chlorinated that we didn’t want our kids to swim in it. The gym had no equipment in it at all and was instead being used for storage. The bathroom door stuck and had to yanked and maneuvered to opened and closed. For all this, we were charged over $200 per night. As I said at the beginning, we were so disappointed by the quality of this hotel that we checked out after one night, lost what we had already paid, and checked into the Marriott up the road."
