A beautiful Lake Murray sunset from Dreher Shoals Dam on the Saluda River. Lake Murray is about 12 miles northwest of Columbia, South Carolina. This picture was taken in August 2012 from the south side of the Dreher Shoals Dam. Lake Murray is located within 4 counties of central South Carolina. It's a popular lake for boating, fishing and water sports. My wife and I are fortunate to live on this beautiful lake - about 10 miles by boat from this spot. #lakemurray #lakemurraysc
