"​The room was dusty and didn't seem properly cleaned before my arrival. To make matters worse, no housekeeping or towel refills were provided after the first night. I later found out it’s an "on-request" service, but the staff failed to mention this at check-in. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and basic hygiene standards."

"This was a fantastic hotel with the best location in the area for access to the square and lovely walks/bike rides. The staff, especially Judith, were very helpful, kind and understanding of our changing plans. We hired ebikes from the hotel too. We loved it here."

"Reception was again a delightful experience. The room was very clean and tidy with a bath. Staff were very pleasant, especially in the bar area. Breakfast was, and as always, a great experience. Plenty on offer to drink and eat in a buffet-style basis. I also liked the preparation and cooking of an omelette whilst I watched and waited. I was especially grateful for the assistance in obtaining a slave-start for my car (I had heavy duty jump leads with me, thankfully) because I had left my lights on overnight - there was heavy rain and thunder earlier. In summary, another delightful experience and very highly recommended."

"It got off to a shaky start with my room not having a working safe, working tv, or working phone. Although the phone turned out to be because the whole phone system in the hotel was being upgraded. But I got hold of reception via the hotel whatsapp which was good and they sent up an engineer. They fixed the safe but couldn't fix the TV so they moved me to a new room and the rest of the stay was excellent. I really appreciated their help in trying to put things right. I think parts of the hotel look a bit tired like the ceiling in the pool room. Otherwise it was a really nice stay thanks"

"This is a beautiful hotel located next to a park. The front desk staff were excellent in sorting out an automated parking machine problem that could have been very inconvenient and resulted in an expensive parking fine. The food is excellent."

"Great location, off site parking clise and convenient to give our dog a walk to hotel. Hotel very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts very nice. Mini bar great."
