"Desidera and Gianfranco treated me like family from the moment I arrived at Dimore di Lecce. Check-in was easy, and they took the time to sit down with me over a map of Lecce, marking restaurants and places worth seeing. Their knowledge of Lecce and Salento set me off in the right direction and laid the foundation for a vacation I'll never forget. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent, with a great range of local cuisine and dining experiences. They and their responsive staff also pointed me to everything else I needed: where to buy groceries, where to do laundry, how to get around, and which nearby attractions to see. They even helped me receive an important emergency shipment. No question was too much. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was an excellent start to each day. I ate in the comfortable shade and the breeze among the potted cacti and olive trees, watching the Duomo's bell tower glow in the morning light, with a lovely spread of pastries and yogurts and freshly brewed espresso and cappuccino. My room was tastefully appointed and showcased the beautiful historic pietra leccese stone. The location in the heart of the old town made it easy to explore on foot. Wandering through the alleyways felt like something out of a movie. The beautiful setting was wonderful, but what made my stay truly memorable was the warmth and care of Desidera and Gianfranco. If you're visiting Lecce, look nowhere else, stay here. I can't wait to come back. Grazie mille di tutto!"

"The Hotel suited our needs very well, with an outdoor space by the pool if we wanted. We were able to park right outside the hotel so paid using an app rather than parking in the hotel's car park which was a lot more expensive. Our car got covered with bird guano though which was not so good! Very comfortable bed and nice large bathroom with large opening window."

"Excellent location and such a beautiful hotel! Absolutely loved our stay Great breakfast We had a misunderstanding with the staff and were treated like liars by one of the hostess which is not a way to treat guests and left us with a sour taste"

"The breakfast was ok but if you arrived after 9.30 (breakfast finishes at 10am) the food was being cleared away, tables weren't re-laid. Staff at breakfast weren't very friendly and it was difficult getting a coffee. The main waiter was incredibly rude and almost took a croissant from my husband on the first day! Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room nice - although beware suite if you have mobility issues as bed very low and shower / bath up a number of stairs. Restaurant opposite hotel on beach (where you could use your half board voucher ) was excellent and very good value. Good location for beach and close to bus to harbour area."

"Friendly and helpful staff, including about often complicated issues in Italy such as parking (it’s simplest to pay a daily fee to park in the hotel’s underground lot). Breakfast was decent and filling. The location works well for those willing to walk a bit — I’d say it’s better to stay outside the historic center than inside it, and this hotel is only a 10-minute walk outside. Overall a comfortable and pleasant experience."
