Ghazala Luxury Collection Alamein

"Overall, we had a good stay at Ghazala. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, with a protected cove that breaks the waves and makes swimming very pleasant. The property is clean, the weather was beautiful, and most of the staff were very kind and hardworking. We were happy to tip the staff, although experiences varied—some were very gracious and modest about it, while a few approached us quite directly expecting a tip, which could feel uncomfortable. The food was average, about 5/10 for us. Service could also be improved. We needed to extend our stay by one night because of last-minute meetings, but the front desk wasn’t particularly helpful while my husband was juggling meetings and calls. I eventually booked the extra night myself through Expedia. On our final day, a buffet staff member asked if we had eaten lunch on our arrival day. When we said no, she told us we were therefore permitted to have lunch that day. It felt unnecessarily transactional - especially for the price we paid for that extra night! We were also told the music stopped at 11 p.m., but it continued until midnight. Overall, definitely a good stay with a beautiful beach, but for the price—especially what we paid for our last-minute extra night—I expected a higher level of service."

"The staff at Rotana Palma Bay are extremely friendly, polite and very helpful. The reception team are very welcome and helpful. Ayoub arranged for a sea view room and was very punctual with time. Another staff member from the reception had kindly ordered Kushary on my behalf after I requested his assistance because I couldn't make the order. His name is maybe Mahmoud, I was so happy with the Kushary and Mahmoud helped me try it. Room service staff, Hadi and Mohammed werevery helpful and professional. My room was cleaned with perfection. Restaurant staff are very nice and friendly, they all welcomed me with a smile. Hossam was the first to meet and greet very helpful and never stops smiling. Bashed was very helpful, welcoming and helpful. Looked after me with keeping the coffee and water filled. Bar at the beach staff are very nice Hossam and El Sawy are very friendly, helpful and professiona. Thank you so much Rotana for hiring the best quality of service provided by lovely staff."
