"I enjoyed my stay at SBMR. We visited 3 of the pools on property and the beach. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants, however the rooms had a full kitchen so I was able to cook breakfast some mornings. The property had plenty of parking available if you get a rental car. My only issue is the layout of the property. It’s not walkable so you really don’t get to see the entire hotel only the area your room is located, however they do provide shuttle service. The hotel is centrally located near night life, plenty of restaurants and grocery store. "

"Awesome hotel & location. We enjoyed staying here everytime. Spent a week here for spring vacay after staying 2 weeks in Maho. Enjoyed it so much we are now official members of Hilton Resort Grand Vacations, Yay! Room was great facing the bay, great sunset views, accessible to supermarkets & a few great restaurants by foot. Staff was attentive & friendly.. next time may have to ask for top floor as we can hear kids running around above us but fortunately we left the next day so it was tolerable then. Will definitely stay there again!👍"

"Our stay at Emerald Beach Resort was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The room itself was mediocre at best, but the beds and pillows were absolutely awful—easily some of the most uncomfortable we’ve ever experienced. The bigger issue was the complete lack of basic functionality and service. The phone in our room didn’t work at all (no dial tone), and the TV wouldn’t load Netflix. We reported both issues on day one and followed up every single day of our 7-day stay. Not once were these problems resolved. We spend our days out exploring and expect to come back and relax in the evenings. Instead, we were met with ongoing issues and zero follow-through. Being told repeatedly that something will be taken care of—and then having nothing done for an entire week—is unacceptable. This was a complete failure in both maintenance and customer service. I would not stay here again."
