"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. Beds comfy and family room generously sized as always. Just a bit of a dated hotel compared to some B&Bs but perfectly fine for a stopover and price was excellent. "

Sofa coffee table tea and coffee. Bath in the bathroom which is rare now. One negative thing was lack of air con. This visit was ok as not too hot, but if were summer we'd have been sweating. "

"The room and bathroom were a fair size. The decoration was OK but too much black made it quite difficult to see in the very subdued lighting. There were some weak details such as no hangers for trousers, only 2 coffee pods (very mean) and unusable plug sockets behind curtains. The bathroom was excellent with a bath and good shower. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of foods. The location of the hotel is ideal and the parking a real bonus."
