"Great spot and close to our family - staff was friendly and breakfast was a nice touch!"

"Was actually quite disappointed in the state of this La Quinta Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by a desk attendant that was dressed in baggy sweatpants and a hoodie. No identification that he was actually an employee. We were told that the pool/hot tub was non-functional. Very disappointing as this is an amenity that we make use of at hotels. Arrived in the room assigned to discover that the heating/ac unit was broken and parts of it were on the floor. Our room was changed at our request. The new room was clean but definitely showing age/wear. At checkout the clerk was pleasant but again, not really identifiable as an employee. Had an uneasy feeling during our stay. We would not likely stay here again. There are many other options in Fargo, ND."
