León may be ny new favourite spot in Spain, and this hotel made the trip even more memorable. Old fashioned but spacious, clean, great room, comfortable with very friendly staff and a lovely welcome. Loved it.

it was nice to feel that the history of the hotel was maintained and it's location was convenient for walking and the staff was helpful and curtious.
My only negative was that I would have wanted the dinning room shades or windows to be open, it felt a bit closed in. and to be able to sit outside for breakfast would of been nice because the weather was great.
Great stay! Wonderful location, helpful staff,
Place is old, floors creaky, walls a little thin,
But it really was fine, no problem at all.
I’d stay again.
This was a cool place to stay, in a VERY old building from 1600's. It was very clean and well-maintained, although thin walls due to it's age. Our room was large, with a modern bathroom. Management was extremely helpful and pleasant. Parking is available off-site for a fee.
Quaint boutique hotel close to the main attractions in the city center. We were on the first floor above the restaurant. It was a little too noisy until from about 9pm until midnight.
The location was excellent, it’s a quaint and cute hotel. Lots of character. The facilities are great the only issue we had was we were in the first floor and the people staying above us were super noisy. You could hear them pacing and moving furniture throughout the night. Very odd. Of course the building is old so are the floors so when they walked the floor would a screech, something that we expect a little bit not with people pacing pretty much throughout the night. 😒 other than that it was great.
I found the hotel charming. It has this authentic feel to it.
Very cozy. And the staff was very friendly. It is within walking distance from the train station, the tourist attractions, and many restaurants. It is just off a major road, but the road itself is very quiet, even at night. I would stay here again.
Happy to have a place to park the car in front of the hotel to unload the bags and check in before moving the car to the nearby municipal car park.
Staff were welcoming. Corner room on the second floor. Loved the wooden beams and floor and decor. Very homey yet modern bathroom. Very comfortable bed and nice linens.
Breakfast is ordered the prior night and requested at a specific time. It was the smallest of the hotel breakfasts we had during our 30-day trip in Spain, which was ok because we were ready for a menu del dia at one of Leon's restaurants.
Great location for walking and exploring the city.
The hotel is in a historic building which is very interesting. Good restaurant on site & good breakfast. The floor above ours was thin and you could hear all movement. Also a restaurant in the square below was noisy.
Very convenient to all of the sights and cafes in the old town. Quaint rooms. My room was on the top floor and was very hot! The in-room AC could not always manage to keep the room cool. Because I had to have the window open, the noise from the cafe below was VERY loud. The Spaniards stay up very late. The noise went until 3, 4 and 5 AM! I stayed 7 nights and almost all nights were loud.
The bed is a bit hard. It would be nice to have a bit of memory foam to soften the bed. Also, the walls are not well insulated. You can hear a bit from the neighboring rooms.
The breakfast was fine. The standard continental. The fresh orange juice was wonderful.
Be aware that not all of the staff speak English well.
Beautiful & historic hotel in a fabulous location. It was spotlessly clean and mostly comfortable on an extremely hot day - there was a portable fan that saved us! Only complaint is that there were a few raised nails in the floorboards that require attention before somebody injures themselves
Great location, middle of old city. Helpful and friendly. Nice size room. Older building with character, well maintained. We got the breakfast, it was excellent. We plan to stay again.
This was my favorite hotel in one month of travel. It is very atmospheric character filled hotel. My room on the top floor was great. It had a small fridge and drink supplies if you don't want to go out. There is a craft beer establishment behind and Asian food restaurant that I enjoyed a green chicken curry at. The breakfast was simple but fine to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpfull. It is located close to the bar and shopping district and close to many major tourist sites.
The Posada Regia is a beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic artwork, real old world charm mixed with modern sensibilities. Smack in the middle of where you want to be in León. Just lovely.

Would visit again.
Wonderful attention and location. Made this trip better.
This is an ok stop for a night. The room was small and the ac did not cool the room down. The bed was not comfortable. On the plus side the location was great.
Excellently located the hotel needs air conditioning since it is a very old building so very hot or cold. Beautiful elements to the building but also problems e.g. my room was beside the life and therefore noisy at times. I had to request reception staff to remove two items protruding from the wall so that I could sleep without extra pillows for protection.
