Novotel York Centre
Room was clean and staff were nice. Good breakfast selection. Was quite busy over Easter and the kids corner in the lobby is a great idea. We could only book the pool for 30min slots which was the only downside. The walk to the town from the back was much nicer.

Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly
Nice hotel, great position near the town centre. Lovely room but bed very low and very flat pillows. Sounds picky but sleep quality is important .
