"If you are looking for a relatively cheap, no bells and whistles accommodation while visiting Dublin, No9 Rathgar is the place for you. It's more of a "self-service bedsit" than a hotel. Impossible to close the bedroom doors without banging them (so you can look forward to being woken up at the same time as the first guess leaving in the morning). Decent bed and shower. Coffee machine, fridge. My TV didn't work but I didn't care as the internet was good so I watched Youtube. A solid 6.5 out of 10."

"The property itself is beautiful, and I’m sure the rooms look amazing. However, I couldn’t even get past the check-in. My wife and I flew in on a Wednesday morning and got to the hotel and were excited to check in. I even called the day before and told them I land early and I was told they were most certainly accommodate an early check-in by 11 AM because they weren’t sold out of rooms apparently. Upon arriving, the Front Desk personnel that I worked with was already ignorant, rude, and seemed a bit racially motivated. She immediately said we do not do early check-in until 4 PM, however, after I spoke to her and told her I had already confirmed with someone the night before she went to the back, spoke to whoever she had to and came back and said we have a room that’s in ““ Cleaning stages and will be ready shortly. While that was happening, I asked her if there was an upgrade available to a balcony room she said there was she went over and chatted with another Front Desk personnel and granted me the upgrade for free after the other person said sure this was exciting until she told me that this room two is in Cleaning stages and will be ready by 12 PM to which I was fine with however 12 PM came 1 PM came 2 PM came and still no room then she tells me unfortunately I can’t check you in until 4 PM when I explicitly told her I have a wedding at 3 PM to get to. Instead of explaining to me that my original room I booked was ready to go, which another Front Desk person had told me "

"The room was relaxing and clean, the shower was fantastic and the bed was extremely comfortable even with it being a single. The room felt modern and cared for and the hotel is in the most fantastic location. I wish I could have stayed longer and intend to return. Breakfast was a little sad with the buffet food cold and very limited options but it was adequate sustenance. The staff were friendly and the hotel bar had a nice vibe. The location is magical. "

"We were booked in a deluxe king room. I felt it was small for a deluxe room. The bus was right outside the door so that was great! I’m not sure if it’s Ireland, but there was no fridge in the room, nor ice machines. The staff were very helpful! They were able to answer all of our questions and were very attentive. We had the breakfast included and was traditional Irish breakfast. I would recommend more fruit options, but this also may be seasonal. Overall we had a nice time. The weather was absolutely beautiful!"

"Unfortunately our room had a few issues. There were very few tv channels that worked. The sink had no plug. Trying to make a cup of tea was awkward as the facilities were under the roof eaves. "
