We booked Hotel Vecchia Fonte after reading guests ratings, and then had serious worries that we had got it wrong this time. We worried that Palau was a small town but not a quaint old Sardinian town, by a car park, busy port with ferry boats, but all of our worries were unfounded. Great accomodation. Friendly staff. Awesome breakfasts. Room cleaning immaculate. Location is fantastic too, close to the coach park, to the main centre and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. My only one criticism is that the hotel amenities state "guest access to outdoor pool" but this is not the case and so Expedia is misleading. There is no access to a pool. A really wonderful stay at the Martini hotel.The staff were so helpful polite friendly and professional .We especially thank the lovely reception staff in particular Ziad who ensured our stay was amazing !
