What an amazing place this is. Spectacular service, beautiful room superbly fitted out and immaculately clean.
The whole building is in such a great condition, an interesting and thoroughly comfortable place to stay. Excellent chef and team, the food was amazing and a lovely choice of wines. Nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to visiting again for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Beautiful property in country park setting. The castle is magnificent old country estate and we loved staying in the country cottage. The restaurant is amazing, as is the renowned chef! The dinner was the best we experienced in 2 weeks in France. We wish there was one that exqusite in the States
Wonderful Chateau, superb staff and fabulous gourmet meals with locally sourced products and very unusual wine pairings suggested by the sommelier. Highly recommended
Excellent stay while touring outside Paris. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Restaurant on site is possibly the best I have experienced in France. Highly recommend.
a beautiful setting with the chateau, dramatically draped in green and red foliage near the lake; a quiet, well decorated room; a wonderful dinner at Les Tourelles, followed by a delectable breakfast the following am
Very friendly efficient staff. Comfortable rooms and an enjoyable stay.
We were warned in advance that the restaurant was closed on a Sunday which was disappointing and meant a fairly lengthy trip by taxi into Rennes.
We were very much looking forward to staying in this beautiful chateau in it’s wonderful grounds. On first glance the room was just amazing but my husband and I were not impressed to find the previous guests rubbish still in the bin and 10-12 dead flies around the bathroom window sill. We live in a very old farm house so know all about dead flies and spiders! On complaint at the desk this was all sorted while we walked the grounds but it was a great disappointment that the staff had not checked on this fly accumulation !
Lovely setting, first impressions when arriving beautiful building. room in the annex very spacious, clean and plenty of hot water for a nice shower after a long drive. staff very smart and polite. dinner was excellent, breakfast was good. there could be a few more options on the dinner menu for people who do not like fish. we had a wonderful 2 day stay and will be returning again.
A dream within a dream! ✨
Thank you to the staff at Le Château D'apigné. We stayed in the *Marie* room and slept like pure royalty.
I appreciate your kindness and attentiveness. Until next time…..
We stayed in the Elizabeth garden suites and not in the chateau.
The rooms were large, comfortable, and we had lovely french doors.
We never dined at the hotel as the menu seemed to be very expensive. But, we only needed the location as a base to explore other villages in Brittany. Served the purpose and it was nice to come back to a comfortable and quiet room.
This was a beautiful property and we had a lovely leisurely Sunday lunch on the terrace. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday nights the two nights we were staying, however we found a lovely Italian restaurant called L’Origan in Le Rheu about 5 mins drive away. The first night we had a taxi booked to take us to a restaurant in Rennes but it was very difficult to find a taxi to return to the hotel, we walked to the railway station to find a taxi. We would definitely stay here again.
