Lovely hotel, beautifully and tastefully renovated and furnished. (Inc air con and all mod cons - pretty bedroom and modern shower room) We were welcomed so warmly by Ghislaine and her family, including their very cute dog! The village is pretty quiet and so they very kindly booked us into a restaurant a few miles away overlooking the river. Staying here was a great alternative to a bland chain hotel close to the airport for our morning flight.

The welcome and the care of Marie and her family were outstanding and there was a determination to make it feel as though we were part of the family. Our room (Marquis) was lovely - very large and full of character but with mod cons, comfortable seating and a very comfy bed. What a gorgeous stay at a beautiful chateau. We had the most peaceful stay here - very welcoming staff who were so friendly. We felt incredibly special and well looked after, and cooked for.
The air conditioning and cool room were so well appreciated in the heat wave. The property is gorgeous, quiet and so relaxing. It was a perfect stop off on our trip.
