"I booked a double room with a tub - was told at check in they didnt have that room type - found out on day two that was a lie - was charged for parking even though it said that parking was free - dinner each night had a guy serving food with long long hair and no hair net gross - oh and he was a very grumpy guy also - food kept running out - drinks in the evening had to stand in line to get one for 15-20 minutes each night "

"Excellent downtown location, within walking distance of the Historic Haymarket and UNL campus. We had an excellent view of the stadium. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the pillows were fluffy. We loved the retro decor and the Warren Buffett quotes!"

"The room was clean and much larger than expected. The location was really good with food options nearby and easy access to 180 to get downtown. Free breakfast was really good with a lot of options in addition to scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. All staff were fantastic. Even though our check-in was delayed a bit, the lobby space is so comfortable that we almost fell asleep in the chairs. Overall a fantastic experience."

"May 2, 2026. Property is all torn up, in process of switching from Comfort Inn to Springhill suites. Materials in lobby, all walls bare with prior wallpaper torn off, room itself with construction started. Hotel is operational, but should have some way of letting customers know the whole place is torn up before booking. O"

"Room was clean and quiet. There was no annoying a/c or heater noise so got a peaceful night sleep. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of healthy choices and good variety. Definitely would stay again. "

"This hotel needs updated and better cleaning done. Carpeting in the elevator was ripped and a trip hazard. Breakfast was very good and front desk gentleman was very nice and very accommodating!"

"The room was in need of much repair, there were stains on the carpet, missing trim near tub, dirt and grime under the curtains by the windows. There was peeling paint and an attempted patch to the ceiling drywall. The bottom of the door trim to the bathroom was damaged and water logged. There was a stain on the lamp shade. The bed sheets did not fit properly and feel off by just sitting on the bed. This hotel is in desperate need of rennovation. The only positive was that the breakfast was tasty and fresh. It was definately not worth the money, and I will look to avoid Country Inn in the future. "
